Starting at the one of Thomas Telfords most amazing engineering projects the Pontcysyllte aqueduct ( I once took canal boat over it). also a great place to start a number of good walk. heading for Llangollen the canal path is perfect for walking and totally flat, we just completed number of walks in the hills so it was good to try a flat walk, plenty of wild life among the way and the views along the Dee valley are stunning, the leaves are starting to change and not long that the landscape will be that red and rust colour, I would happily walk the Llangollen canal in snow just to experience the change of scenery and experience the peacefulness and tranquillity .
total distance of the walk including walking around Llangollen was 15km,walking time of 3 hours 15 minutes.
I am much looking forward to the international balloon festival next week, I an writing a review on behalf of Yatter Yatter magazine and Photographing for the magazine which will be great experience.
I am currently just working on the my next walk in my walking column of Yatter Yatter which will be out November
