A short but steep walk Rhobell Fawr an extinct volcano right in the heart of south snowdonia and in the welsh gold belt.

Total distance i completed today on this walk was 10km, following public foot paths and following stone walls to the summit, with a leisurely decent on a different route stopping to take some photos.
The walk can easily be done, there and back from Llanfachreth, in 4 hours, given good weather, and provided you are used to the British mountains. if you like peaceful mountain walks then this the one, i did not see anyone for three hours in the four hours i was on the mountain
