I was lucky this evening with the walking on the Parorama walking at sunset, with the excellent weather and light, camera at hand as always.
I am really pleased with these two composition and aimed to silhouette the castle ruins against the sunset and a little bit artistic with the wavy clouds.
An amazing walking experience and photography walk on Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons early morning which was worth the drive and the 5am start.
The weather was outstanding with fantastic cloud formations and vapour trails from pass jets overhead, I find these can give mountain photography an edge..
Despite the early start there were a few people about, I turned this around to my advantage to give scale as you will see in the photography, I even seen a plane fly over the 886 metre summit-
Another brilliant photography session and to compliment yesterdays photography session at Oswestry station with a industrial theme, we were kindly allowed access into the old Blacksmith workshop at Snailbeach mine visitor center.
Lots of industrial subjects to photograph, a lot of the equipment seen are from the original workshop.
I have included a few images of the mine buildings, a great place to explore with a camera
Just finished a interesting photography session at the old railway station at Oswestry in Shropshire, plenty of old engines and old disused railway equipment laying around to make photography subjects.
The main aim was, and i was successful was some grainy black & white photography with different textures such as rust and patina with a good industrial feel to the images.
I will have return again at some point for more photography here again and visit the little railway museum nearby, a great little venue for photography
A few photos form a short Saturday afternoon walk around the mere in Ellesmere, capturing a few spring time images
more of a photography walk this morning, the light not very good or as i describe it "flat light" for photography.having had a busy week so a bit of isolation and quit was on the books this morning, i have taken the DLSR out with its new carry bag to try and carry over distance (it passed the test by the way) and a small selection on lens.
AS you can see i have only posted a few images, i struggled with any wildlife photography as were i was, which was Black Pools which is former water reservoir for Welshpool and now used for fly fishing.
Plenty of wild life but unfortunately its situated right in Powis Castle estate shoot, and as you can imaging any wild life has been shot or just scared of any noise.
Back up the hills and a peaceful trek back
