Quite a challenging route on a Sunday afternoon to attempt this walk, if anyone knows the the infamous wayfarer route, it is a mountain pass over the berwyn mountains,snaking it's way from Llanarmon DC to Llandrillo in the Dee valley, this route is used a lot by off road vehicles and mountain bikers.
"Wayfarer" was the pen name of Walter Mcgregor Robinson, an enthusiastic cyclist from Liverpool.

a memorial stone to the wayfarer is at the summit of the route at Nant Rhyd Wilym, here you will find also a tin box were all passing the stone sign a book to honouring the man who made the route known across the country.
from our route we take a left turn heading to cadir bronwen summit with decent heading for well deserved drinks at the Hand back at our start point in Llanarmon
